This morning, our community’s water system experienced a malfunction at the water plant. The system controls failed, causing the water wells to misread the levels in the ground storage tanks as empty. As a result, the wells continued pumping water, which led to the storage tanks overflowing into the pond and eventually filling the nearby dip area.

We want to assure you that the malfunction has been corrected, and the system controls are now functioning properly. Crews are actively pumping down both the pond and the dip area to restore normal levels.

Additionally, we’ve discovered that a drainage pipe leading from the pond was damaged by Frontier Communications. This damage is causing water to surface near Texas National Boulevard and run along the street. While this is not an emergency, we understand that it is inconvenient for nearby residents.
