Earlier today, a water main was struck by contractors performing fiber optic installation work. Repairs have been completed, and we are currently in the process of re-pressurizing the system. Unfortunately, we will need to issue a boil water notice until adequate testing results are received, likely take 24-48 hours in accordance with legal regulations.
While re-pressurizing, residents may experience temporary low water pressure and/or discoloration of the water as the system returns to normal operation.
To help restore water quality, crews will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the subdivision. While flushing is underway, there may be brief, reductions in water pressure.
If you notice discolored water, we recommend running an outdoor faucet until the water clears before using it inside your home.
